Interesting sketch. Do you prefer charcoal over pencils? I used to find that I made too many smudges with it than I did with pencils. However, charcoal is better for shadows than pencils, as the darker tint of charcoal makes them move vivid than pencil shadows. BTW, after speaking with J.Sto, I remembered that we didn't speak this past May at the Mancha. I'll make it up this winter when she comes back, or earlier if you'd prefer.
