Thank you

Thank you for all of the positive comments about the aspargus. Linda asked about the paper I used -- The drawing was done in a sketch book I bought some time ago that I'm filling up so I can move on to a nice Fabriano and a Moleskine that my husband gave me for Christmas. The paper is smooth, acid free, and probably about 50 lb. Not the best for Nupastel, but I added the color as an afterthought.

The smooth paper is what fooled me, then. Normally you see pastel on such textured paper that it is really obvious. I would never have thought to use Nupastel over graphite, though -- now it's on my list of "stuff to try". Really -- those asparagus are wonderful.
